Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 4, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how SimpleFounded (“we,” “us”), a Minnesota foundation lead-generation business with an emphasis on ICF (insulated concrete form) foundations, collects, uses, and shares information from visitors and customers — especially Minnesota residents — who use this website.

Plain-language note: We do not sell your information. This page describes our practices for a small local business. It is not legal advice. Privacy laws change, and whether a particular statute fully applies can depend on business size and data volume.

Information from the quote form

When you submit our free quote / match form, we collect what you enter so we can follow up and help match you with a local foundation professional. Submission is optional. You choose what to send. A quote request is not a contract.

Project — ICF foundation is the default. Other choices are poured foundation walls, footings, waterproofing and drainage, excavation for a foundation, or not sure (required)
Message — optional notes you choose to add

Purpose: free quotes, lead follow-up, and connecting you with local foundation pros who may contact you about that project. We do not require the form to browse the site.

How it is delivered: the form is processed by Web3Forms, which emails the submission to our business inbox at grainpathllc@proton.me (Proton Mail). The email subject is “New SimpleFounded quote request.”

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to personal information collected through our website and related communications for SimpleFounded’s Minnesota foundation lead-generation service. We serve Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Dakota, Washington, Scott, and Carver counties. It is written with Minnesota visitors and customers in mind.

Other information we may receive

Besides form submissions, we may receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site — such as IP address, browser type, and basic request logs generated by our hosting provider. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or similar sensitive financial identifiers on this site.

How we use information

To respond to your quote request and follow up by phone, email, or text about that request
To understand your project and share the lead with a matched local foundation contractor or service partner who may contact you
To operate, secure, and improve the website and our business records
To comply with law or respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else, and we do not use it for unrelated third-party marketing.

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run the service:

Web3Forms — receives and delivers form submissions to our email
Proton Mail — stores emailed leads in our business inbox
Hosting / CDN providers — host this website and may process technical or security logs
Matched local foundation contractors or related service partners — may receive your quote details so they can contact you about your project
Service providers we use only to operate the business, under appropriate limits
When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or security

Those recipients handle information under their own practices as well. Sharing a lead with a pro so they can quote your project is not a sale of your information. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies, fonts, and analytics

SimpleFounded does not currently run its own advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics) on this site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a network request to Google. Our host may set or use cookies or similar technologies for security, performance, and network delivery. Your browser may also store normal session or preference data. If we add analytics or marketing cookies later, we will update this policy.

Retention and security

We keep quote-request information only as long as reasonably needed to handle the lead, follow up, maintain ordinary business records, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations — then we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (including HTTPS and reputable providers), but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and Minnesota-oriented rights

You may contact us anytime to:

Ask what personal information we have about you from a quote request
Request a correction
Request deletion of your quote or lead information (subject to records we must keep)
Ask us to stop follow-up about a particular request

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act (MCDPA): Minnesota’s comprehensive consumer privacy law (Minn. Stat. §§ 325M.10–.21) took effect July 31, 2025. It generally applies to businesses that meet certain size or data-volume thresholds. Entities that qualify as small businesses under the U.S. Small Business Administration’s definition are generally exempt from most MCDPA requirements, except they must not sell a consumer’s sensitive data without prior consent. SimpleFounded is a small local lead-generation business and does not sell personal information, including sensitive consumer data. Regardless of whether full MCDPA controller duties apply to us at a given time, we will honor reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests as described above. Children’s privacy

SimpleFounded’s service is intended for adults seeking foundation quotes and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, vendors, or the law change. The revised version will show a new effective date at the top of this page.
